Your money information, kept local.
This page explains what My Plan stores, where it stays, and how you can keep or remove it.

My Plan stores your financial plan in this browser, not in a My Plan account.
No bank is connected, there is no cloud sync, and My Plan does not sell your financial information.
What My Plan stores
My Plan stores the information you enter about income, budget allocations, categories, account names and balances, transactions, budget confirmations, savings goals, debts, and display preferences. A first name is optional and is used only for the dashboard greeting.
Where your plan stays
Version one uses browser-local storage on the device and browser profile you are using. My Plan does not upload your plan to a My Plan database, create an online account, or synchronise it between devices.
Someone who can use the same unlocked device and browser profile may be able to view the plan. Use your device screen lock and browser-profile protections.
Hosting and necessary technical information
The hosting service may process standard technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, and request timing. My Plan does not intentionally include your budget entries, balances, goals, or debt figures in those requests.
The project owner still needs to confirm and publish the hosting provider’s log-retention and access details before any wider public release.
No bank connection, sale, or advertising profile
My Plan does not connect to a bank account or open-banking service. It does not sell your financial information, use advertising trackers, or share your plan with a household member. Account balances in My Plan change only through the actions you take in the app.
Export and restore a backup
Use Settings → Export backup to download a JSON copy of your complete financial plan. Keep that file somewhere you trust. You can restore a valid My Plan or legacy MoneyMap backup from the same Settings page.
Delete or reset your data
Use Settings → Reset device data to replace the current plan with the starter plan. You can also clear this site’s stored data through your browser or device settings. Export first if you may need the information again.
Local data can be lost
Clearing site storage, resetting the browser profile, losing the device, and—in some browser and device combinations—uninstalling the PWA may remove locally stored My Plan information. A service worker makes pages available offline; it is not a backup and does not copy your financial plan to the cloud.
Privacy questions
A public privacy contact has not yet been verified for this project. The owner must add a monitored contact channel before a wider public release. Closed-pilot testers should use the contact channel supplied with their invitation.
